Renee's Story - 2011

Tell us about yourself?
I am a 32 year old woman living in Hamilton, NZ, with my husband and 3 children. I work as a Lead Facilitator with Interactionz. My work is about facilitating independence.

What did you hope to get from participating in the storytelling workshop?
To correct the ending of my first story and re-open my life as I felt the last story was saying it was complete when really every day is a new day.

Why did you choose this particular story to tell?
It is what felt right in my heart it was not pre planned in fact it was put together literally 10 minutes after it was due to be transformed into digital so it was really what was on my heart.

How have you changed as a result of telling and making your story?
I have provided myself with endless opportunities.

How do you think this experience will impact your journey?
I hope that this experience and the story I have shared will impact someone else’s journey
