HOW WE DO IT

Interactionz’ journey to date has highlighted three important areas of focus necessary to achieve our vision for the future.
Self and Source Awareness is the first area of focus. This is about understanding ourselves, our beliefs, our motivations, and the way that we impact on others and the world around us. Self awareness, insight and reflective skills provide an essential base for our way of working.
The second area is Self Determination. This area is about empowerment; shifting the locus of control to the person or people whose lives are affected by our thoughts and actions. That is the people we serve alongside their families/whanau and friends.
The final area, Community Strengthening is about contributing to the fabric of community; building on the strengths and assets that already exist so that all people are able to contribute to their community.
It is important to acknowledge the connections between these three areas; there is a lot of overlap.
