Tess Casey

Board Member

Tess has worked with Interactionz through her role as Chief Executive with Inclusive NZ and has always been inspired by the thoughtful and values-led way Interactionz approaches their work. Tess believes Interactionz are open to learning and innovation, and don’t shy away from asking the hard questions and felt very honoured to be asked to be part of the Board.

Tess is currently the CEO of Neighbourhood Community Support NZ, and the Deputy Chair of Community Networks Aotearoa. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Humanities) and an almost-completed Graduate Diploma in Not-for-Profit Management, and she has worked with a number of community organisations and schools as a Capability Mentor and facilitator. Tess is particularly interested in helping organisations design and implement processes for stakeholder engagement and working collaboratively.

Tess lives in Wellington with her husband and has three grown-up sons. In her spare time she is a writer and reader, and enjoys drawing but would describe herself more as a doodler than an artist. Tess likes to keep fit and relax with a lot of walking and Pilates. In the past few years she has had the privilege to travel overseas on a few occasions and she is now always thinking about the next place to visit…
